ClimateKIC, awards Antaco €50,000 to develop a bench scale feedstock testing facility in partnership with a UK University. The ClimateKIC is the largest climate change community across Europe bringing together the most influential and commercially-minded players in the emerging climate change sector. The grant will enable Antaco to work closely with leading academics in the conversion of biowaste into biofuel. Even though Antaco’s technology is tested and proven there are countless varieties of organic waste from many sectors, this new testing facility will allow waste generators to see for themselves how their waste can be converted into valuable biocoal using Antaco’s technology. Not only will this provide a waste management solution but will also become an additional revenue stream.
